10,000,000 is a match-three puzzle game with RPG elements.

Gameplay:
10,000,000 is a side-scrolling match-three puzzle game. The objective of the game is to reach a score of 10,000,000 so you can reach freedom. You must complete objectives to rank up and unlock new stores to upgrade your abilities and tools. Levelling up your abilities will allow you to progress farther into the levels so you can reach the score of ten million and reach freedom. Simple mechanics, basic premise.
The actual gameplay consists of your character running through a dungeon fighting enemies and looting treasure. There are seven different tiles you can match: magic tiles, weapon tiles, backpack tiles, key tiles, shield tiles, and wood and stone tiles. The weapon, magic and shield tiles are self explanatory, and the key tiles simply open locks on chests and doors. The backpack tile will give you a chance to get an item to use for aid during your run in the dungeon. The wood and stone tiles will give you the resources necessary to upgrade tools and the different shops. There are also wildcard tiles, which can be matched with any combo on the board.
The actually gameplay does not go into much depth, as it is simply a 2D endless running game. You fight enemies, get gold from chests, and try to get as high of a score as possible so you can reach freedom. You use your resources, gold, and experience to upgrade your character and the different shops so you can become more powerful. Quests also provide you with resources and experience, which helps you progress more quickly.
The game is not the most streamlined experience on a computer, especially on a big screen while only using a mouse. The game was originally designed and published for mobile devices, and was later ported to Steam. This is very apparent, with the very common match-three puzzle game style as well as the shallow controls. The game is still fun, but there is not much depth within it, especially after you reach the score of 10,000,000.

Graphics:
The graphics in 10,000,000 are very simplistic. It is a 2D pixel-style game with minimal details. The game is still pleasing to look at, and there are animations to look at while playing the game, which is a welcome feature, as sometimes games like these are lacking within that. The visual representation of your journey through the dungeon is also a very nice addition, making your actions feel more impactful on your experience.

Music/Audio:
A 2D puzzle game can only have so many sound effects. Luckily, this game takes advantage of all its opportunities. The sound design in this game is very well done, and fits the style of the game perfectly. The music is also fantastic, with great retro vibes and some cool fighting music during gameplay. The feedback of matching tiles and taking down an enemy is satisfying, and that stellar design makes up for the lack of depth of gameplay.

Conclusion:
10,000,000 is a decent game. It is a great time killer, and can be enjoyable when playing through for the first time. However, there is little replayability and depth to the gameplay. The graphics are very simplistic, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it is part of the design and style. The music and sound effects are fantastic, and improves the atmosphere of the game immensely. The biggest issue with this game is that it is a mobile port. Not much is changed with that, and it certainly shows through playing the game. The experience is much more streamlined on a mobile device, as I have played that version as well. The game isn’t horrible simply because it is a mobile port, and it is still an enjoyable game.

Overall: 7/10 – Recommended
